Hey guys,
The other day I was playing with my new keyboard and
my system seemed to lockup after pressing the F7
button. I don't have a dvb card so I imagine that is
why it locked. Well, I rebooted the machine and now
when I watch tv I get bad stuttering playback and the
voice's are slightly higher pitched. I tried the F7
button again and it locked again, but it didn't fix my
problem. I also tried reinstalling the ivtv driver
and the latest svn with the new tv playback function.
My specs are as follows:
P4 3.0ghz
512mb
pvr 250
pvr 350
I am using the latest X driver and this problem just
started. The only two things I have changed where a
new keyboard/mouse (Gyration) and pressing that F7
button. It looks to me like my system is trying to
play live tv without the buffer, but cannot process
the info fast enough. I do get audio prebuffering
pauses.
