Thanks, but I don't understand: can I use mythtv-setup to associate my
DVB-S channel ids with xmltvids, or not? If not, it's back to manual
manipulation of the channel table in the database, right?
Of course you can. There is a field in the settings display for each channel, where you can enter the xmltvid.
