my PVR-500 came with an extra connector that allows me to hook up
another s-vid in. i don't remember if it has a second coax in on it
or not. but it basically gives you a separate connection for each
chip on the card.
so it can be used exactly like two separate cards.
You don't need a second coax connector on the PVR-500. The card splits the signal internally when you're using coax.
