Yes, just run the backend and run the mythweb module to scheduele
the tv programs (you can have one shot recordings or recurring
recordings)
The beaty of mythtv is that it is very modular and you do _not_
have to install all the modules.

I presume it enables one to schedule stuff on any web browser.
