I have purchased the Hauppauge Nova-t card to be used in my mythtv system because I have read that it is well supported and works best for DVB in the UK.
However after installing the KnoppMyth R5A26 it does not recognise the model and does not set up the card properly. The extract from dmesg is :- Linux video capture interface: v1.00 cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.5 loaded cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9002, board: Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T [card=18,autodetected] TV tuner 4 at 0x1fe, Radio tuner -1 at 0x1fe tveeprom(cx88xx internal): Huh, no eeprom present (err=-121)? cx88[0]: warning: unknown hauppauge model #0 cx88[0]: error: unknown hauppauge tuner 0x00 cx88[0]: registered IR remote control PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:0f.2 (0014 -> 0016) ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] enabled at IRQ 10 PCI: setting IRQ 10 as level-triggered ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0f.2[A] -> Link [LNKC] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10 cx88[0]/2: found at 0000:00:0f.2, rev: 5, irq: 10, latency: 32, mmio: 0xeb000000 cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0]).
