It wouldn't be particularly sensitive the difference, but most other display technologies in that price range provide better picture quality in general. 

Of course, only LCD gives you that form factor, so I can certainly understand where you might value the form factor highly but still want to get the extra sharpness that comes with a digital link.

I'll definitely check out avsforum. Thanks for the tip. Just out of
curiosity, why would an LCD panel in particular be sensitive to quality
diffs between PC and HDMI inputs?
