Hi users, I have always wandered why nuvexport seems to give an incorrect indication of its encoding status. The following example shows that it completed when it had encoded a reported 8.32% of the frames. Surely, that would be 100%.
Where would you like to export the files to? [.] Enable Myth cutlist? [Yes] Enable noise reduction (slower, but better results)? [No] Enable deinterlacing? [Yes] Crop broadcast overscan (2% border)? [No] Audio bitrate? [384] Maximum video bitrate for VBR? [6000] VBR quality/quantisation (1-31)? [1] Now encoding: 7 (7 Digital): Fri Jan 6 21:45:00 2006 Encode started: Fri Jan 6 23:35:54 2006 Waiting for mythtranscode to set up the fifos. Starting ffmpeg. processed: 14699 of 176664 frames (8.32%), 20.27 fps mythtranscode finished. processed: 14702 of 176664 frames (8.32%), 20.28 fps ffmpeg finished. Encode finished: Fri Jan 6 23:48:00 2006 Encode lasted: 12m 6s [EMAIL PROTECTED] videos]$ Also, is 20fps about right for a Sempron 2400 with 512MB of RAM. I didn't think it was too bad, but faster is always better right :P Cheers in advance, Whytey -- -- I have GMail invites, if you want one, email me direct. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
