I used to have the same problem with ivtv-0.4.0, see http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/25249 . I can't remember seeing this problem after I upgraded to 0.4.1, though. I recommend that you upgrade to 0.4.1. If that doesn't help report to the ivtv-devel mailing list, since this is a ivtv issue, not mythtv. Good luck!
