Native joystick support works fine in MythTV 0.18. Using it saves you having to reconfigure xmame. Just stick a joystickmenurc file in .mythtv/. Mine is attached. Note I've got two joysticks configured in there and IIRC MythTV doesn't currently support that - it just ignores the second one. Steve
