Check to make sure that you have the tuner input correctly associated with a channel source. If necessary, delete the tuners and the channel sources in mythtv-setup and recreate them.
I saw the same problem last night when I was re-enabling the second tuner on my PVR-500 after upgrading to the latest stable ivtv driver release.
