First, thanks for your channels.conf note for Cox in Phoenix, and disclosing that Cox doesn't broadcasts PID's.
I have an Air2PC HD5000 with QAM256 support working. I am able to successfully utilize the card for ATSC Over-The-Air signal with an antenna, but have been unsuccessful in decoding Cox's basic stream for the public HD broadcasts. :-/ My latest attempt included using your channels.conf and important it with the channel scanner in mythtv-setup. However, when I try to view any of the channels, I simply get a black screen. I wonder if you have the same experience and any tips? As an example;
KAET-DT-1
Signal 85% | S/N 4.8dB | BE 0 | (La_) Partial Lock
Any thoughts or tips?
Best regards,
Wylie

I post this because somebody might search for this one day. So instead
of having to manually pick out the streams one by one like I did, I
thought I'd post it for them since Cox doesn't broadcast PID's out here.
(do they not broadcast these things so they can try to sell you a STB
and a subscribing to digital cable or something? Because thats the only
answer for not doing it that I can think of.) Anyways, It should work if
you have basic basic or basic extended and might work if you have cox
cable internet or cox phone service.
