Therefore, you won't get anything except video if you just use the decoder. So, for Myth, people use the PVR-350 framebuffer to display graphics--including X, the Myth GUI, external programs, and any video that can't be decoded by the PVR-350 decoder (either because it's the wrong format or because the app used for playback doesn't support the 350's decoder--such as when playing back DVD's using xine).
