Thanks for the tip, but this just doesn't work. The main disk space is needed by two things: MythTV and ie. a downloaded stream from my Digital video camera. The problem is that MythTV should be given as much as possible when it is not needed by the digicam, but when I need the space I need it. Putting these on different partitions will not share the space available. > Also, this is more like a developer's project. That is why I am sticking with it. What I don't like is the attitude on this list from certain people. Your response is a good example of a creative respons and IMHO the way a list should work so thanks for that.
