I used to get that on a system built from Mandriva rpms. That system also had problems where my DVB-T card recordings had glitches caused by the SATA controller chip. I built a new system using IDE drives and Knoppmyth (R5A22 unfortunately) , and the same DVB-T card, and the system has NEVER had a zero byte recording. Your theory on trouble getting channel locks sounds possible. In my first system, I think it was the SATA controller interfering just at the wrong moment (while it was tuning). Of course, given that Knoppmyth R5A22 was built on an SVN version accidentally, maybe it's another completely unrelated problem that the myth developers fixed? _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
