Mine too. I've got stuff like: |# Show OSD |begin |prog = mplayer |button = MENU |repeat = 4 |config = osd |end
This is all from a canned lircrc that is specifically designed for mythtv on the xbox so I have no reason to suspect it is incorrect. > ... Which maps my remote "Pause" and "Play" buttons to the > mplayer "pause" command which pauses/unpauses the playback. > Do you have similar information in your ~/.lircrc file? Yes, and there is also stuff for "vlc" and "xine", neither of which is running. Thanks again for your help gentlemen. I'll keep you posted. ------------------- I emailed yesterday but messed up the subject line. Hopefully I get it right this time. You need to add: lirc=yes to your /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf To get mythvideo to start you need to add -nojoystick to your launch command. Might want to check this out: http://www.mythtv-xbox.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=36 Everything is there for a basic setup.
