Knoppmyth was an experiment; my mobo (Asus A7V600) and soundcard (SB
Live! 24-bit)have caused problems with Red Hat/Fedora, and I have been
reluctant to learn my way around Debian. (I normally use Mandrake &
SuSE). Tuner cards are a pcHDTV2000 and a Hauppauge PVR150 MCE -
neither of which I have been able to make work. Graphics card is an ATI
AIW 9600, which would be perfect if it were Linux-compatible.
Now contemplating a new mobo - prefer Athlon 64 - and open to suggestions.
