One of their tricks is to offer to process your rebate more quickly for a "small fee", to be deducted from your rebate, otherwise processing might take "3 or 4 months". You also cannot get the rebate unless you have: Internet service an Email account a computer (obviously) a printer The "original" invoice There is absolutely *no* way to obtain the rebate "manually", they say that right on their site, AFTER you have purchased the product. Kind of a problem for my 80-year old Mom who has bought a TV set. I once tried to register for a rebate and got noplace on their site. I finally called them, and after close to an hour on hold was told "there must be something wrong with the site, try again in a few days". Needless to say... _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
