Hi Mark,

The correct option is -d64, but apparently this does not apply to Windows
(http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/tools/windows/java.html).
It does apply to Linux or Solaris
(http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/tools/solaris/java.html).

> Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_23-ea-b03)
> Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)

Good, your Java is correctly running in 64-bit mode by default (no need for
-d64 parameter).

Your Java3D installation is not linked properly to your Java installation.
Did you check those DLL libraries as Chris suggested?
You may try to remove Java3D and install again, it may help.
I also recommend to use the installer (j3d-1_5_2-windows-amd64.exe) rather then
the ZIP archive (j3d-1_5_2-windows-amd64.zip).
If you use the ZIP archive, you may need to do some additional steps manually,
such as setting the CLASSPATH.

Best regards,

Tomas
