Hi all,
There is currently some confusion regarding the representation of the retention
times in MZmine.
The user can set the format to seconds or minutes in the preferences, but it is
not clear how parameter input is handled.
Furthermore, if some module does not use the NumberFormat obtained from
MZmineCore.getRTFormat(), then the value may not be converted properly.
To avoid these problems in the future, I think it would be better to remove the
option to format the RT in seconds, and just stick to minutes in all situations.
Does anyone have any good arguments against this change? :)
