Hi Sanford,
Where exactly are you looking?
I see the link to download version 2.7.1 both here
http://mzmine.sourceforge.net/download.shtml
as well as here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mzmine/files/mzmine2/2.7/
Tomas

Windows PC
Tomas,
We appreciate the bug fix, but note while the log documentation at the
sourceforge site reflects the change, the download files remain v2.7, not 2.7.1
and are dated March 21, not March 28.
best regards,
Sandy

Hi Sanford,
I found the cause of the problem and fixed it. Since this problem made the
version 2.7 quite unusable, I released an updated version 2.7.1.
Please download it from the website (http://mzmine.sourceforge.net/) and let me
know if you find any further problems.
Best regards,
Tomas

We installed Mzmine 2.7 on a Windows server and duplicated the same phenomenon;
after importing and saving a file, the resulting file could not be reopened -
same error message: java.lang.NullPointerException (ProjectOpeningTask.java:380)
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for responding. The file saved with mzmine 2.7 is in my public DropBox
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69262015/caspaseMzmine27.mzmine. I confirmed that
after creating and saving this file, then quitting mzmine, I was unable to
open it with v2.7.
The same raw data was imported and saved using mzmine 2.5 (importing seems much
faster with v2.5). The resulting file is at
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69262015/caspaseMzmine25.mzmine. I confirmed that I
could reopen this saved file with v2.5.
Let me know if there are any other files that would be helpful.
Sandy

Hi Sanford,
Can you please send me a copy of the project (e.g. via DropBox, RapidShare
etc.)?
I will take a look at it.
Cheers,
Tomas

Hi -
I am sending a screen shot showing an inability to save and then successfully
reopen an mzmine v2.7 file on a Mac (OSX 10.6.8). The same file can be saved
and re-opened readily with mzmine v2.5, so there seems to have been a change
between versions that is not successful (failure duplicated on two different
Macs in our lab).
Your programming efforts on this project are much appreciated!
Thanks,
