Hi Assel, Sorry, the developers' tutorial is a bit outdated. To activate your module, please add it to the array in MZmineModuleList.java. There is no need to modify the config.xml file.
We would be happy if you contribute your development to the official MZmine distribution. Cheers, Tomas ________________________________________ From: Assel Nurmukhanova [11031...@student.gla.ac.uk] Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2012 12:56 AM To: mzmine-devel@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [Mzmine-devel] Adding new modules to MZMine 2 Hi all! My name is Assel Nurmukhanova. I am studying masters course in the University of Glasgow. I am doing a project where I am developing new modules in MzMIne which can be added as a plugin. I dont have much experience in Java programming however I am doing my best to make my project working well. At the moment I am struggling with adding my modules into Mzmine. According to the instruction (documentation) the additional modules can be added from conf.xml file. However, the mzmine seems not working in this part. It saves the modules to config file, but adding the modules from config.xml seems not enough as it uses array of listed classes from MZmineModuleList.java to display them on the GUI. I would appreciate if you can tell me how can I add my classes (with new modules) to MzMIne via config file (or perhaps another way) Thank you Best regards, Assel -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
