Hi Joseph,

Try opening the Windows command line and typing just 'java'. Do you get the
same error message?

You probably need to update the PATH environment variable, see e.g.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15796855/java-is-not-recognized-as-an-internal-or-external-command

Alternatively, you can edit the startMZmine script and set the JAVA_COMMAND to
the complete path of your java installation.

Best regards,

Tomas

Good morning,

I would need to consult with you how to install MZmine 2.10. After downloading
MZmine software from your website and extracting all the files, I launched the
startMZmine_Windows file and ran the software, after which a message about java
is not recognized appeared (see screenshot below) and would not proceed. The
operating system is Windows 7 Professional.

The IT department has verified that Java has been installed on my computer
(Version 7 Update 25).

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated,

Joseph
