If we remove the tasks immediately after they're finished, it will cause the 
task window to be constantly "rearranged", making it hard for the user to keep 
track of what was already done.
Well, you can try to change the implementation in that way and let me know how 
it feels. Nevertheless, if we remove the tasks immediately when they're 
finished, we should probably add another window showing a list of tasks that 
were finished in the past.

Is there a reason why they are not cleared from the list once the individual 
import has finished? When importing many files – e.g. 100 – it can take a very 
long time before the task list is cleared and it is a bit difficult to follow 
the status of the tasks.
