Hi Mark,

Even if you installed the 64-bit version, the 32-bit version might
remain somewhere in your computer.
Please check the initial output in the MZmine console.
In my case, it shows this:

java version "1.8.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b17)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.25-b02, mixed mode)

Note that it clearly says "64-Bit".

In Lea's case, according to the screenshots it says:

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

which indicates a 32-bit Java VM.
