What are your thoughts about the design for MZmine 3? I think it would be nice
to give the GUI an update and suggest a flexible interface where the user can
place opened windows as tiles anywhere in the GUI. This will allow higher
flexibility so that the user can view whatever information is required for a
specific workflow. We can still allow any window to float above the GUI which
will retain the current functionality.
Here are two examples showing the kind of interface I'm talking about:
