Dear MZmine developers,
I am a user of MZmine and recently I had to re-image my computer and
re-install MZmine. I remeber to have some similar issues before but now I
have one that I cannot fix.
When try to run MZmine appears the following message (I have already
installed the packages "ptw" and "rJava" in R):
Checking physical memory size...
Found 16292 MB memory, 64-bit system
Java heap size set to 8146 MB
Invalid initial heap size: -Xms8146m
The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
Press any key to continue . . .
Version MZmine I try to run is 2.13.1
I did not change the default values of the startMZmine script.
Hope there is a solution for that,
