the tubing is a polyurethane impregnated glass fibre tubing, bought is some 
time ago when I was building hifi valve amplifiers (needed to be heat 
resistant). I'm sure I bought it from Farnell but it's expensive stuff,

The biggest I can see is 28mm but it's way too expensive

All brackets are made from 1/16" thick aluminium angle and shaped 
accordingly
