Hello Thierry, it is not so scary to choose a correct type of power supply. Look in the datasheet, there is a "current range". If the "current range" is 0.5 - 5A in the case of the RT-50C at +5V you have to have a minimal current of 0.5A. You can meet this requirement by using a dummy load (e.g. a lamp or resistor which presents a load of appr. 2.5W). Also you have to know, that when the voltage is adjustable on channel 1 on an dual or triple channel PS, the voltage on channel 2 or 3 also increases when you increase the voltage on channel 1 or vice versa.
