I know the CPU boards are designed to work with "Bus Mastering"; I've
realized I'm not 100% what "Bus Mastering" means or how it works.

My take on it and please correct me if I'm wrong.

   - There can be several CPU cards in the system however only one can be
   active on the S-100 bus.
   - That something in the monitor code on each boards controls if the
board is the master or not?

Assuming I have this somewhat correct then I have a couple questions:

   - On power up how does the system decide which CPU board is the master?
   - How does the master semaphore get passed between boards (or is this
   even possible)?
