Hello Philippe, the backplane is a Vector 8803 with 11 slots. It has active termination for all signals. Also CompuPro sells this backplane. The 12V 120mm fans in my picture are supplied by the +8V power supply. So the noise is acceptable and the airflow is enough. The grey mounting plate for the two fans devide the enclosure in two parts, so there is no backflow of the air. When you go to CPUs like e.g. 80286 the greater airflow is needed essentially. Frank
