There may now be enough for a re-spin Matt. I don't see a need to do a version 2 as it behaves as 'advertised' fine. However a better arrangement might be to consider the Propeller driven Console IO board.

Depending on your need/budget you can get any of these boards done for ~$30/board, plus a $70 board setup cost.
