For $42 delivered, you can't go wrong. See item 180926954184 I don't use it for my 27xx devices, but if you like, I can test mine for you. I have used mine to program some PIC's and EEPROMs, no problems. Unfortunately it won’t do 2708, likely because of the multiple supply voltages needed. I don’t have much use for 2708 so it’s not a big deal for me. I also have a legacy parallel port programmer and an old laptop that I use should I need 2708 programming.
