Hi Todd, It looks like the prop i/o card is sending something... I'm on my way to work, but I'll try to document the jumper settings I'm using on my system when I get home.

I changed some jumpers; On the CPU board: JP10 2nd from left. On the Prop I/O board: set P74 bit one & P75 bit two. Now when I boot, I no longer get a runaway on the display. I do however get treated with the prompt;> five dots two spaces five dots.....Keyboard has no effect. I did see this in another post of Jeff Albrecht; I see his screen has a prompt > with 5/dots + the BOOT BIOS.HEX, INIT_FAT. For those that have a working board, what is the normal mode of operation in this boot sequence ? The Boot loader flys off the screen like a key is being held down. Rebooted and stopped the CPU after I saw the menu. I'm guessing I don't have the Prop I/O set up for the correct "status bits" for KEYBOARD in/out. I recall dealing with this to match it up to my ver Dos. What should it be set to ? JP8/JP9 all jumpered JP10 no jumpers, don't understand... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "N8VEM-S100" group.
