It's a reproduction kit that sold in the mid 90's. The boards all use the original foil patterns, but they are plated through holes (the original was not). I bought it from a guy in England 2 years ago, it was unbuilt. So, I built it and got it running, but never put it into a box... now I would like to finish that job. I don't know much about 8008 programming... but some day I hope to play and learn it.

Hi Jeffa, Todd, The latest image files on the wiki site include Martin Eberhard's X-Modem and some images with ZORK. Todd, I don't know why your RS-232 is only providing a partial directory.... that's very weird. Have you tried to connect the console I/O and the Terminal both at the same time? You can do this, and just watch the input from the other device. When you run DIR on the console I/O you should see the same output on both. Same goes for input from the terminal. The reason I prefer the terminal, is because you can use Martin's X-Modem in CP/M to upload/download files to the disk image. Yes, it would be nice to write some software that will read/write to the image files directly from windows, I just don't have the 16 hours to do this. Currently working on building a case for my Mark-8. Ditto for me. :-) What is the procedure for introducing files into the DISKxxx images? It sure would be nice to have a chooser to copy files into the DISKxxx images from the local ms/dos, linux or osx file systems. Or how about in the ROM. You put a file on the SD card and hit some menu option to save it to the currently mounted A> (or x>) drive. - jeffa -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "N8VEM-S100" group.
