John, Bob, Todd, Your wish come true. Power is now not sent through the ribbon cable... this will keep the ribbon free and clear for Ground and BUS signals only.
I agree, power should be routed via the power connectors. Someone could even use the alternate power connector to bus the power to the next board. Ok, so I've uploaded that as the latest board to the Wiki... If anyone wants to review it, please do... Todd, when you're ready to order, please put me down for 10 of these bus boards. What thickness are you intending to choose? Is there a choice that's thinner than Version 02 but a little thicker than the average board? I don’t like the idea of having to modify components. I would sooner search for 9-pin R-nets, even if paying a premium, than to cut off one of the resistors. There really is no utility to passing the +/-16V through the inter-board cable, as one would necessarily, out of good practice, apply these power inputs on both boards.
