These are 1206 parts X7R .1uf 50v 10%, they do fit over the pads common on our boards.. Not perfect, but good enough! Maybe we should modified the pads to make it fit both parts on future boards? 0805 and smaller parts are a bit cheaper, larger that 1206 cost a bit more as the industry has move away from these larger parts. common in cell phone today is 0201 to 01005 parts!!!
