OK that's how I've done so far. I'm sending an SNMP trap using net-snmp's snmptrap command but it is very restricting I think:
The following notification methods have been defined: service_notification_commands notify-by-snmp host_notification_commands host-notify-by-snmp under contacts.cfg However, using snmptrap command in notify-by-snmp script, you can only define one OID that is to be used on ANY host notification that Nagios is producing. Therefore, I don't see a way to pass a different OID for each kind of host notification (using the HOST_NOTIFY MIB available under nagiosmib package - shipped in parallel with nagiosplug http://sourcefor ge.net/projects/nagiosplug). Could someone provide with a way through this situation? - George Vidos (gvidos) ----------------------- This thread is located in the archive at this URL: http://www.nagiosexchange.org/nagios-users.34.0.html?&tx_maillisttofaq_pi 1[showUid]=12735 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
