Check nagios.cfg for the line:

date_format=euro

Hmm, at the moment I have "date_format=iso8601", but I still get
dates of the form "11/23/2005" when I go to set downtime.  AIUI
iso8601 should give YYYY-MM-DD format.

Looks like the cmd.cgi does not respect the date_format setting. Try this patch:

Works for me, though I notice that the scheduled downtime comments do not respect the date_format parameter either.
