By database, I assume that you meant SQL Server. The script just counts the login spids > 50. It only connects to the default database, master and just needs the ability to login. I created a SQL Server login for the nagios daemon user on all SQL Servers that I want to monitor. With the default permissions of nothing, the nagios user cannot connect to anything but master with public permissions. Did I miss something?
