If I try su - nagios -s /bin/bash -c aplay wav it works, so, on misccommands.cfg: define command{ command_name play_siren command_line /bin/bash /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/sirene } This happens because user nagios has /bin/false as its shell on passwd.
