Anyone know how to get around this? Author "nagios process" overwrites the commentfield value so the users can not place a comment while scheduling downtime. Now they have to schedule downtime and then post a comment after.

I have question about the "comment" field used when scheduling downtime for a host. Users can schedule downtime, but afterwards when you view the host in nagios you don't see the users comment. Instead you get something like "This host has been scheduled for fixed downtime from 2006-01-18 11:39:33 to 2006-03-18 13:39:33. Notifications for the host will not be sent out during that time period." Any easy way to add usercomments to this comment-field as well? Thanks in advance, Morten. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
