Any Script? This may vary with your Linux distribution. Something like "killall nrpe" or "kill `cat /var/run/nrpe.pid`" may work. Maybe you like to create /etc/init.d/nrpe, that will start and stop the service: look for a nice file in /etc/init.d, copy to /etc/init.d/nrpe, edit to your needs.
