Hi. Dumb question probably, apologies in advance... I have a router, which I am currently monitoring snmp and ping on - i dont want notifies on the services, but only the host, but still want the services going down to trigger the host check etc etc if that makes sense?
What's the "proper" way to do this? I.E, disable notifications for the service(s) altogether, or is there another way this should be done? I assume that since service checking will still be "on", disabling notifies on the service would accomplish what I want.. is that right...?
