Thanks for your reply Gerhard, yes I meant that check_logfiles. You see I have an application running on a linux server and I want to search the logs for a specific error message but I only want it to raise an alarm (status change to critical) if in a single check it finds more than five of that type of error in that execution of the plugin. Your plugin is pretty good so if you modify it let me know to try it out.
