Hello Everyone, I
am seeking some help regarding ndoutils and nagios. Here is what I am running: ·
CentOS 4.2 ·
nagios-2.4-1.el4 ·
ndoutils-1.3.1 ·
mysql-5.0.22-1.centos.1 ·
php-5.0.4-5.centos4 ·
nagios-plugins-1.4.2-1.2.el4.rf The I run the ndo2db daemon and it
starts just fine: ndo2db
-c /etc/nagios/bin/ndo2db.cfg I’ve tried chmoding the sock
file to 777, changed the ownership to nagios:nagios, and running it as root. If
I run the ndo2db as nagios it gets a permission denied to the sock file? Should
I run this under the nagios user? Here is an excerpt from my
nagios.log file: [1152209793] Nagios 2.4 starting...
