I'm currently implementing SNMP checks into Nagios. My only problem at
this point is that some of the snmpd daemons start hanging (> not
responding to snmp requests).
When I do a netstat -tulp check on the host, I see very high Recv-Q values:
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address
State PID/Program name
udp 108416 0 *:snmp
*:* 5776/snmpd
Any thoughts?
