Hello all:

Has anyone been able to get PerfParse and Nagios 2.5 working correctly?  I have tried many options but it just does not seem to work.  I have tried:

1)       having nagios printf to a log file then externally have perfparse-log2mysql process, always complains about a file position marker but the docs do not discuss this

2)       have nagios fire perfparse-log2mysql on a per-event basis without the intermediate log file, this seems to work with no error but NO DATA gets stuffed to perfparse database.

The perfparse documentation is a bit weak, there is no comprehensive “do this” step by step.  There is not even detailed documentation on all the various config file options that I can find.  I am running nagios 2.5 on CentOS 4.3.

Thanks!

/Chris
