I am running Nagios 2.4

I am seeing an issue with using the “reload” argument of the Nagios init script.  I often make configuration changes and then reload the configuration. After an undetermined number of reloads, it becomes un-effective. My changes are no longer updated. At that point, I stop and start Nagios, and the option works again.

Also, I looked at the init script.  It references a cgi, daemonchk.cgi, which I don’t have in my distribution. It uses a variable, $NagiosCGI, that never gets assigned.
