Not much from this output, I'm afraid. You will have to re-compile nagios and make sure that it isn't installed as a stripped binary. The trace output above shows only function names from the standard C library and the dynamic link loader, which doesn't help in the slightest. I think the stripping is done when doing "make install", so skip that step and just do "cp base/nagios /path/to/your/nagios" and you should be fine.
