I definitly understand that thast no problem. But When the host is shown
down there is no icon when i click on the downed host to acknowledge the
device which is stranger because it had the icon of working person with a
shovel ..lol 3 days ago
Now you can only acknowledge the host only thru the ping device???
when its down for both

You can only acknowledge hosts and services when they are in a non-OK
state.
It's common for the PING service to have stricter thresholds than the host
alive check, meaning it's perfectly possible to have a WARNING or even
CRITICAL service check that checks PING, while the host is still listed
as up.
